Given that sorcerers are able to cast magic naturally due to their lineage, bloodline, or some similar effect, to me sorcerers feel like innate spellcasters. While I could see the flavoring of how a spellcasting focus could aid a sorcerer, I think it would be a minor buff and a flavorful change to remove their reliance on them. To that end, I wrote the following optional class feature
Magician’s Body
Xth-level sorcerer feature
Through the power which suffuses your body, you are able to harness and direct your magic at will. When casting a sorcerer spell you can ignore any material requirements for spells that lack a cost.
This would effectively make the sorcerer's body a "spellcasting focus" of its own. I am not sure when the most appropriate level would be to give this, but I feel like somewhere in levels 1-4 would be appropriate.
