I hope this is the right place to post. I’m looking for a build advice for my Half Elf Divine Soul Sorcerer this is my first character ever. We will play until hitting about level 15. Currently, my level 1 character stats is as follows:
Stats (already include the half-elf modifiers): 8/15/14/13/16/20 – we do dice rolls
Spells: Cantrip: Firebolt, Minor Illusion, Guidance, Mage Hand 01: Disguise Self, Sleep
I plan to play him as a Blaster and Sociopath character. He would be like an arcane Bobba Fett, hunting and tracking bounty targets and doesn’t mind manipulating people via magic or social skills to get what he wants and if words doesn’t work, he blast them to dusts with his magic. He prefers to do things quietly (sneaking or charming person) and prefer blasting people as a last resort so I will be taking Subtle Spell as one of my metamagics. However, unsure of what spells, metamagic and feats I should choose next as my character level progress (all official books are allowed. Unearthed Arcana materials are not allowed)
Some of the spells that comes to mind are: Scorching Ray, Fireball, Spiritual Weapon, Bless, Mage Armor
Metamagics that I plan to take at level 3 are: Subtle Spell and Empowered Spell
Feats to take at level 4: War Caster or Lucky
My other parties includes: - A Goliath Storm Herald Barbarian - A Variant Human Cavalier - A Half Orc Cleric of Talos - A Tabaxi Ranger - A Fallen Aasimar Rogue
I think for a blaster, only having a single offensive cantrip is a little light on blasting; I'd personally take some more offensive spells and pick up the more utility type spells when you gain more options. I guess that really depends on your campaign though really. I tend to get bored easily when there isn't enough combat.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
