Why do you need greater restoration in the first place?
Key to this "coffeelock" concept is never taking long rests ever, so that the temporary spell slots you can generate via the Sorcerer "Font of Magic" feature never go away. You need a way to remove the levels of Exhaustion that this causes, and Greater Restoration can do that.
