I think we should have 9th level sorcerer only spells, is this a good idea, and if so, any ideas on what they would be?

The whole thing with the sorcerer is not that htey have unique spells but they can do unique things with spells or example:

• Twinned Power Word Kill
• Psychic scream but doing force damage
• Mass Polymorph for 2 hours
• Careful Meteor Swarm

All are essentially 9th level spells unique to Sorcerers.

It is a personal take, but I have always felt that counterspell should be sorcerer only. The idea that sorcerers would reflexively absorb/subvert magic and everyone else would use dispel magic to dismantle active spells feels like it would make a lot of sense. It would give the class a powerful niche ability to lean on in battles outside of enhancing spells.

I do like that, but Counterspell also is a corner stone of Abjurer. But other than that, I do like the idea.

3. Time stop (I don't know if they have that)
