I have a level 12 shadow sorcerer in a campaign that will probably go to level 20. Recently during his character arc the shadows from his powers have been used against him by an antagonist from his backstory. At the end of the session the shadows have started to corrupt him, shifting his alignment to NE, along with some other not so good changes. We also came across a sea hag a few sessions back and the party brought him to her to see if her Fey magic could do anything to help, leading to him getting a level of archfey warlock that lessened the power of the shadows. I want your opinions on how many levels of warlock I should take to offset the shadows completely, as the DM made it clear that the shadows were not dispelled. As always, thanks for your input.

This is something your DM made up so talk to him/her about it. You should not have to take levels in a different class against your will...i wonder if the DM had another option for dealing with the situation.
