I’m hoping to play a divine soul sorcerer and have most of the gameplay down, but i can’t decide between some of the cleric spells and some of the sorcerer spells.
Mass Suggestion vs Hero’s Feast
Reverse Gravity vs Resurrection (I’m taking Revivify.)
Dominate Person vs Holy Aura
Wish vs Mass Heal
I’m under the impression I can just use Wish before a long rest to cast Hero’s Feast and then Resurrection (albeit I can’t twin spell it) as needed for free.
Also, I’m taking Revivify (as stated above) not only for it’s Twin Spell capabilities but because I am questioning whether I may or may not multiclass, making Counterspell fall behind in level to match opponents ”levels” anyway. Is this a sound argument?
Gotta add those to the list of questions to send to the DM. Counterspell greatly depends on how the DM runs it on the table, some allow it to be cast after knowing which other spell was cast; others don't. Counterspell is a lot more useful if you know what you're counterspelling before trying to counterspell it. There are DMs who consider dead creatures to be corpses, which, by the rules (Improvised Weapons: [...] object [...] such as [...] a dead goblin), are usually treated as objects. Which invalidates them as targets for twinned spell of revivify.
Yes, resurrection also targets a dead creature. Some good options for the twinned spell metamagic which may cause future editions of the sorcerer class to be nerfed are heal, polymorph, haste. Heal because it's a way to cast a 6th level spell using 6 sorcery points, the others are concentration that don't allow multitarget even if upcasting all the way, so the metamagic is the only way to essentially sustain double concentration. I go over sorcerer planning on this thread.
Wow. This is a lot of new information to consider. Still, I appreciate both of you taking the time to reply. I guess I’ll be going for more of a sorcerer build than a cleric one.

Oh, i hadn’t read that before. Interesting. I assume the same goes for resurrection?
