Good day everyone. A player in one of my campaigns was going over their sheet and is concerned that dndbeyond is auto adding their innate sorcery to their spell DC. They have a 20 CHA, robes of the arch magi and a prof bonus of +3 using that math it should be 8+5+3+2=18 but dnd beyond says their DC is a 19.
Innate Sorcery is an active feature that you can turn on and off on the character sheet itself. If you click on it in the list of "Features & Traits", a sidebar should pop up with a drop-down labeled "OPTION" toward the bottom. If that drop-down is set to "Activate Innate Sorcery", then yes, the character sheet is adding the Innate Sorcery bonus to the save DC as appropriate. Just use that drop-down to turn it off when you're not using it.
If it's not activated and you're still seeing an extra +1 on the save DC from somewhere, maybe have the player set the character's privacy setting to public (it's on the Home tab of the character builder, way down at the bottom) and post the link to it here so other people can take a look at it.
When shutting off Innate Sorcery, DnD Beyond frequently continues to show the increased spell DC (I have that problem on one of my characters). Refreshing the page, toggling it on/off, nothing seems to reliably work to get it to recalculate correctly. Just have to know what the real number should be, and wait for it to correct itself.
