I was just wondering if there is any way to expand a Sorcerer's spell list.
Specifically, I am playing a Sorcerer (Divine Soul) in Adventurer's League & I want to add "Vampiric Touch" to her repertoire.
I was annoyed when I went to learn my 3rd level spells & it was not on her list of options. Then, I said... hmmm, perhaps, I'll simply wait until she is higher level and use a "Wish" to add it to her list of known spells.
Considering that use of Wish could possibly be my first & LAST use of Wish... you can see, I *REALLY* want her to be able to add that spell to her known spells.
Last night another player mentioned an item they had just read that was a single-use, consumable magic item that would allow a character to add a single spell that isn't from their list to their known spells.
A) Does anyone here have any idea, what that item might be? (It can't be homebrew, as this character is & shall remain AL legal)
B) If you do not know of any such item, is there any other way to accomplish this, through Feats or some other method?
I'm not simply wanting to be able to have a Vampiric Touch "weapon" or something like that, or a spell storing ring someone else has imbued with the spell, but, the ability to cast it as if it were a Sorcerer spell for this character.

Thanks!
would multi-classing into a wizard for 5 levels work?
She's 1 level Paladin & probably going to be P2/S18 or P1/S19 at level 20... so, preferably no. I want her to have 9th level spells eventually.
You could always homebrew a copy of Vampiric Touch. Keep everything the same but add divine soul sorcerer to the available class list.

Guys, pls."
In that case I think your only option is to multiclass. No item or feat, as far as I know, adds Vampiric Touch to your spell list.

Could you not use spell scrolls to simulate the spell? Otherwise id have to say not legal unless multiclassing.
No.
The End.
Curtail the 'tude a tad, brohammy.
