I currently have an Open Hand Monk who's family praises a Golden Dragon. Said dragon has started becoming more prevelant in his story, so I've started to consider multiclassing, but the one that makes most sense in this situation is the Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer. Is this a good combination, or should I rethink?
It's a little challenging stat wise as you'd want Wis and Dex for your monkiness and Cha for your Sorcerer stuff. What type of role are you looking to fill and what split of levels were you considering? Monk's unarmored AC and the draconic origin armor bonus don't stack and I think a lot of it depends on what you want to be doing. Sun Soul or 4 elements monk might fit a little better if you're looking to do more ranged stuff.

You could take cleric. Worship the dragon, and you will use wisdom, so not too many ability scores.
