The DND Beyond Character Builder has Form of Dread listed as a 3rd level ability even though everywhere else it's 1st level. Just an error on the Character Builder?
I found that one of the funnist combindations with Patron of the Undead is playing a Bugbear which has a 5ft added reach with the Sentinel feat. By attacking first from 10 ft away and causing the frightened condition, means that they can not move closer to attack you while you can keep hitting them. With the Sentinel feat, if they attempt to leave combat, you can use an opportunity attack (regardless of disenage) to get an additional attack and force their speed to be 0, causing your DM to be pissed.

i think you're supposed to hit that when activating form, and then you add those manually in the hp section? i think?
I'm not level 6 yet and it's categorized under Bonus Action, Attack and then it has the 1d10 + damage button available.
Your explanation does make sense but I'm still a bit confused on it.
It just reads/displays so weird on DND Beyond. Lol.
Still much appreciated on the feedback.😎
Fey Wanderer works great

It's a Legacy subclass that hasn't been updated to the 2024 rules entirely. The old subclasses are a bit cludgy on DnD Beyond.
All of the subclasses are assigned at 3rd level now, as opposed the 2014 rules where Warlocks got their subclass at level 1.
Compare any of the 2024 subclasses with the 2014 version and you'll see what I mean.
