So soon we are gonna run Waterdeep dragon Heist and im gonna play a hexblade close range fighter. My DM was kind enough to let me use 2 handed weapon from lvl 1 as a Hex Warrior (since i will get blade in lvl 3).
My question is ... i have 16 CHA (best roll sadly) i was thinking going Vhuman for the sweet feat mostly. If i go with GWP i will have a dull 17CHA from racial. If i go shadow touched i can get +1 CHA so it goes 18 plus invisibility and one more spell... In lvl 4 i will get the second feat but which one will benefit me more in a lvl 5-6 campaign that the Heist is?
Currently playing a warlock with fey touched (misty step and hex). Having a few extra spells on the Warlock chassis is really useful. Since you are going GWM I would recommend fey touched with misty step and bless instead of shadow touched. Bless's ability to counteract the -5 from GWM
At really low levels GWM is really tough, particularly if you don't have the prime req to hit with higher. I would do the touched feat first, and GWM second. That way you have your pact boon/invocations in place when you take it (and if you go with bless from Fey touched you can feed your own to hit).
In a different campaign I have a friend who is warlocking with shadow touched and grabbed cause fear. Its still a great choice and cause fear can work well with blade lock.
