I have just made a level 5 pact of the blade warlock, and this is the first time i'm playing warlock. I have played druid before tho. You guys got any tips for me?
What kind of character are you making? Pact of the Blade, but what patron? Do you have a ranged build or melee? For sure my tip is to get thirsting blade for that extra attack, to keep up with the martials

I did this exact same thing- went from Druid to Warlock. Biggest thing I would say is understanding that Warlock is not a “full caster.” You can’t expect to cast a leveled spell every round. You wanna look for opportunities to drop a big impactful spell in round one and then lean on Eldritch Blast or your Pact Weapon.

To add to this, you only have a couple slots per short rest so no matter how tight things get only a couple spells will be cast in any particular combat. You know vastly more than 2 or 3 spells at this level. Allow yourself to pick a few go to combat spells and then fill out a spell or 2 for out of combat situations or niche situations to pull out of the back pocket in areas that are not being threatened by attack and are available to rest afterwards.
I’ve played warlock many, many times and the biggest thing that I can say is that you should (as a fiend warlock) cast finger of death or something, hurl them through hell and then SPAM ELDRITCH BLAST 🫡

I find that the most compelling feature of the warlock is it's roleplaying potential. Yes, it's a mechanically unique caster (as long as you don't have problems with resorting to eldritch blast most encounters), but the real fun comes from fleshing out your characters personality and their relationship with their patron. I'd even go as far as to say that the Warlock may be the most role play-dependent class in the game. In my experience, If I don't have a compelling story behind my Warlock, it often ends up feeling like a subpar sorcerer or wizard.
As for purely mechanical tips, multiclassing is always a stellar option for a Warlock, especially after level 5. If it's not banned at your table, I'd always recommend you try the infamous "Coffeelock" build.https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?626827-The-Magister-of-Mystra-A-Specialist-s-Guide-to-Coffeelocks-WIP A paladin multiclass can be great as well since you've taken pact of the blade, even for a fiend warlock (it tends to be more optimal with a hexblade).

I am also here.
Am snek.
I only have The Fiend, so that's what I used. My build is melee. Thirsting blade? Got it.

Also, pay a lot of attention to invocations. Invocations are really great for character development are roleplaying, but there are a few that most Warlocks should have: https://rpgbot.net/dnd5/characters/classes/warlock/invocations/
That's all I can think of ATM that hasn't already been said.
In my experience...
If you want a melee build, I would suggest Invocations like Eldritch Smite, Superior Pact Weapon, Cloak of Flies, stuff like that.
Also be careful not to play warlock like a normal caster.
I wonder how plummeting hundreds of feet feels
