Watching a video game presentation for Khazan the first berserker., A game coming out in 2025. In the intro the guy makes a pact with a sword, I'm like dude is a hexblade. Too bad barbarians can't rage with spells. Then I was thinking what about hexblade 2.0, a chunk of their abilities went to pact of the blade. The biggest chunk really. So if they were remaking it how could it go. So subclasses for like the fighter that add magic make them 1/3 casters. Could they 1/3 fighter or barbarian through this., like a tuned down rage. Instead of Dr, maybe something like the heavy armor mastery feat. Some kind of weapon mastery feature. When they come out with the next supplement book, hopefully filling in all the missing subclasses tuned up to 2024 variations, I hope they don't just drop hexblade as pact of the blad does it. a subclass that really leans into the pact would be nice.
