Hey all. I have a some questions about this Feature.
1. The Feature says that the target creature "returns to the space it previously occupied or the nearest unoccupied space". Can I use this on a creature that is right next to a big cliff and then move into the space it was just occupying to get the creature to return into the empty open space right above the cliff? Very niche use I know, but it would be funny and kinda cool.
2. If a creature is suffering from a spell effect like Hold Person and I send them flying through hell with this Feature will the effects of the spell end?
1. Probably not. Assuming someone has occupied the previous space, it would then get shunted into the nearest square. Usually, that means the nearest safe space. But if there are no other safe spaces, I guess it could happen. Though if I were DM, I’d point out that if PC can do it to a bad guy, a bad guy can do it to a PC.
2. Effects of other spells would not end as a result of this power. It could happen that when the creature’s turn comes up while they are in hell, they make a save at the end of their turn, and then come back un-held. But hurl through hell itself doesn’t end the condition.
