Is Green Flame Blade worth using since you can now eventually do more than two attacks? My build uses a rapier and shield, but is capable and proficient with the shortsword and scimitar.
(Happy New Year btw. Hope everyone had a great holiday season!)
It may be situationally useful, but you won't be spamming it.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
Ok. I was thinking of taking Eldritch Blast and Green Flame Blade to start, then Prestidigitation at level 4 and minor illusion at level 10. Does that make sense?
yes if you are going for a charisma build and not using any feat support

The only feat I’m using is warcaster (which I’m still not sure if it’s overkill with the boost to constitution and strength boosted due to fighter. Someone said I didn’t need it with pact of the blade despite me using a shield.) That and Boon of Fortitude. The rest are +2’s in Charisma and Constitution.
Warcaster synergizes well with GFB. If you get an opportunity attack, you can cast GFB instead. That's one of the reasons to keep it.
That said, why do you need str for fighter? Are you wearing heavy armor? I tend to favor medium armor and just getting the +2 from dex, which I typically want anyways.

I meant the extra I get in strength and constitution saving throws. I get extra from being a fighter, so I wasn’t sure if Warcaster’s advantage on constitution saving throws was overkill.
Are you talking about saving throws or str attribute? I am a bit confused there. You shouldn't get any extra str attribute from being a fighter

Saving throws. My level 20 Fighter1/Warlock19 has a -1 strength attribute but a +5 strength saving throw from starting out as a fighter.
