So I was making a warlock character and when I leveled them up to 3rd level I was still only able to pick 1st level spells. To clarify this is not me being confused on the differences of pact magic versus other spellcasting classss. I even leveled up the character to 20th lvl but still only level 1 spells. I have not purchased any digital content on dndbeyond (I don’t see the point in spending upwards of $100 on stuff I already have) and this is the only thing I could think of effecting it but I would still think there would be 2nd level spells available.
Warlocks have a limited amount of spell slots so if you are wanting full caster, take feats like magic initiate for more cantrip and an additional spell. Also take the Pact of Tomb to get a book and more cantrip/ritual spells
As Alien mentions above- Tomb Pact with the Ritual casting invocation adds ALOT of utility and versatility. Between the extra cantrips and the ritual spells from ANY class, you are free to dedicate your spells known at level ups almost entirely to things useful in combat. Tiny Hut, Detect Magic, Comprehend Languages, Identify, Divination, Find Familiar, Silence, Telepathic Bond, Water Breathing- All ritual spells with strong utility.

You have to go out of your character and then go back into it after leveling up sometimes. That’s been posted before.

Oh ok. Thanks
Anytime something that should happen doesn't happen: refresh the page, turn sharing off and on, unselect race/class/subclass and reselect it.
If none of THAT works, then make a thread.

Refreshing the page fixes the issue for me
