Why would the Patron even know the Paladin exists or that it is siphoning power?
I looked up what that means and the example in google is "For example, barnacles on a whale benefit from transport and food, but the whale remains unaffected."
Using that same example. There are a lot of barnacles on the whale, yet it is really doubtful that the whale is aware of any particular barnacle. I assume it is aware there are barnacles, just not aware of any individual.
If you are a barnacle from the example, the Patron is aware it has individuals siphoning power, but would it know who they particularly are with out looking for them?
I think because of your relationship of communalistic symbiosis of sorts with the patron, the Patron has no idea you exist. So if it calls you anything it is unknown #xxxx
If the Patron has no idea that your character even exists, then please explain how your character was able to create a Patron / Client pact?
Because you are using rituals, secrets you have learned allow you to take power from a source. All the pact means is you have some connection or tie to them which can be completely one sided. It is pretty standard fare for the GOO pact warlock. The idea for many of these creatures is they are so absurdly vast in power, a you are just ignored as you have 0 impact on them, you are less than an any to them even at level 20. "Drawing on the ancient knowledge of beings such as angels, archfey, demons, devils, hags, and alien entities of the Far Realm, Warlocks piece together arcane secrets to bolster their own power." Drawing on ancient knowledge is not the same as they gave you personal instruction. Your pact could have just been you glimpsing a far realm being and you drew knowledge from the imprint on your psyche you got from seeing a being beyond comprehension. The imprint being a permanent effect makes it a binding pact. Not only is flavor free, but this style of flavor seems to be specifically intended with some of the options like GOO.
I love my wife, and hamburger and coca cola and video games and rock music and 80s-90s new wave, and dnd and DELTARUNE and pizza tower and leather jackets and green and keytar and evil sentient AIs (I hate irl AI) and sci fi books and movies and always sunny in philidelphia and my wife (again) and yeah
To piggy back from above, just because the Patron made a pact, doesn't mean they are keeping tabs on you. A lot depends on the particular Patron.
Okay. I take the point of view that my Archfey Patron does know that I exist, much as a house cat is aware of its favorite toy. My Archfey Patron has taught me the Sylvan language so that my Patron can whisper odd bits of advice to me while insuring no one else can understand the conversation. In game terms, this means that a low initiative roll could mean that I was distracted by my Patron's inadvertent opinion. Since I am something of a special "toy" to my Patron, my character tries to take the Patron's sensibilities into mind when I select spells. Spells that deal force, psychic or radiant damage are acceptable, while spells that deal necrotic or poison are highly dubious. Spells that summon undead, devils, demons and Far Realm abominations are definitely out. If I please my Patron, I might be permitted to visit her luxurious palace in the Feywild. If I screw up royally, I may spend the rest of my limited existence as a semi-sentient potted plant in that palace.
On the flip side, a GOO, isn't going to pay attention to you. The other poster said the have that special relationship which Google said was like barnacles on a whale. Big picture awareness, but no detail knowledge of an individual. Not a parasite relationship, but not mutual like your archfey.

oh please. GOON is obviously the best option.
