So I helped out a npc and they gave me a spellbook title "Ancient magics". I am trying to look up what this spellbook has in it for spells but can't seem to find anything. Maybe I misheard the name or something? I had asked for a "animate dead" spell and the npc have me this entire book said the spell was in it.
So I contacted the DM. They looked for it and couldn't find it either. They explained either what they seen was removed or they misread (was a long day, it's understandable). They are now in process of building me a new book.
