Im lvl 7 Gnome War Magic Wizard right now and i am debating at 8 to go to 22 int or Warcaster (i have read the tome of clear thought so max is 22), Con save is +2
I normally stay back and I am basically the only spellcaster. I am leaning towards int increase but last night I lost concentration because of 1 poison damage
War mage has bonuses to AC and saving throws that can help prevent the need for concentration checks. There are also many other things that can help with avoiding or passing concentration, such as magic items, positioning, or even some allies' features. Getting +6 from an ability score is not very common, so I'd say grab it when you can. That extra int will also help make sure your spells connect, in the form of higher attack rolls and spell save DC.

IF you have the option for a +6 modifier in Int then id go for it

Definitely the +int affects almost the majority of your spells.
If you werent a war magic wizard it would be close, as a war mage who has some solid concentration save protection its not close imo go int.
