hello there! I have too many ideas. I am very impatient and I love splatoon and obssess over any minmax. I'm sorry if anything I post is unkind or offends you. I'm well aware that I am very weird and I like it that way! call me adam or atomic. check out the never ending arena for good combat! my mottos:
goal number 1: be funny in all ways possible
goal number 2: be nice in all ways possible
goal number 3: have as much fun in life as you can!
You can also give the spell to another and keep the concentration. Say your front liner doesn't use BA that much. Have the familiar fly by and get into their space so you can do a reaction casting of Dragon Breath (it's a touch spell) and give it to them. Since your concentrating he won't loose it and gets a dragon breath to do in front line as a bonus and since your concentration you can do blaster spells and keep it up.
So underused on lower levels. Put it on the big bad guy while your in the back of the line and than pump cantrips and your BA into them to give out as much damage as you can per turn.
heck, even at higher levels it's still good! one of my favorite spell mastreys.
