I was discussing my necromancer with my DM, and there was a point of minor contention between us that I was hoping you all could help with: I could have sworn there is a way to assume control of zombies/skeletons that were originally reanimated by a different caster - effectively stealing or pacifying them. Am I remembering correctly, or was that just wishful thinking (and/or misreading of a spell) on my part?

"We're the perfect combination of expendable and unkillable!"
Hm, I was sure there was, and just jumped on the spell listing page here to find its name and link you to it... and yeah, it appears there isn't one, unless you want to count Dominate Monster (and I'm almost 100% sure that's not what you had in mind).
On the other hand, the level 14 School of Necromancy feature for Wizards is probably what you (and I) had in mind. "Command Undead". :D
Hmmm, Command Undead is probably what I was thinking of. For some reason I thought you could affect multiple skellies or zombos at once - that was the wishful thinking part, I suppose! Maybe I can convince my DM to let me homebrew a Mass Command Undead variant as part of my character's magical researches.

That sounds awesome, and certainly VERY thematic! :D
