I have a few fancy notebooks I plan to use for drawing up as my Wizard's spell book. My Question is, does anyone have any experiences drawing Spells Scrolls or books? Or have any relevant art that could be used as examples and inspiration.
Dont forget to use references if not your own art!
Wow... that look super cool... where did you get it?
So far I've only used special fonts and capital letters when I need to make some props from a spellbook. I used to look for inspiration on screen captures from Book of Shadows featured in the Charmed TV show. Also, back in 4e I used to make my own power cards using Magic Set Editor. I'm planning on doing it again for my wizard's spellbook, though I guess this doesn't apply to your case...
I got the book years ago saddly so I do not recall where it was from. Likely one of the semi gothic / crystal shops you get from place to place that sell like dragon clocks and such. I was either going to use this one of a leather bound one I have too.
I remeber charmed so may google the book for some ideas, thanks!
Mage Wars Card board game spell books could possibly be used, make spell cards in magic card editor.
A couple of the younger players at our gaming venue, have created cool spellbooks using leatherbound notebooks and annoyingly good calligraphy. You could use fonts and print then glue that page into a cool or quirky journal or home made book.
There was a book authored by Jared Blando awhile back that may be helpful. It's about drawing maps for fantasy settings, but I imagine a lot of the content and techniques would prove relevant for scrolls and such.

I got a leaf covered notebook but one of my friends took it, so no pics of it sadly.
This is what I've got, and a white colored pen to write but I didn't have the courage to use it yet :D .

Some links to wiccan pages and art pages. D&D is a game, but it is important that we are respectful of other peoples beliefs.

There are also Youtube videos that may be inspiring for creating props for play. Larpers do it after all.
