I like to play "What If" games with my characters frequently, once in a blue moon this winds up causing me some issues with dndbeyond.com's character sheet, proficiencies don't get removed or bonuses don't get recalculated when removing changes. There are also instances, such as character death, where you really want to reuse certain parts of a character but change some other stuff. A quick and dirty "clone this character" button would be a huge help in these situations and I think the implementation effort would likely be pretty minimal.

This is a planned feature. :) We should see this coming around the same time as some of the tabletop management options are introduced.
