I believe they said that races and subclasses are going to be coming in the future. As for classes they have mentioned that have too many moving pieces for them to nail down, but there was never an official NO on custom classes.
can't wait to add the UA minotaur to the races since i play one.
i wonder why they haven't added it to official book yet considering the race is pretty good as is.

Not sure if this is the correct place for this question, but was trying to create a Wood Gnome as described in the PH since I could not find it as a selection as a Race choice. That being said, why isn't Wood Gnome a choice and will we be able to add Sub Races in the future?

We have homebrew options for nearly everything else....what about races and classes?
