I suspect a lot of those issues will resolve themselves over the course of a few changes in the works, but I'm curious if the following are considered.
Is there a way to grant a homebrew item (or spell, or monster, etc) entirely to another user, ownership and all?
For example, a DM of mine may task me with devising an item or three for a specific situation, for various reasons. He may want to do edits to those items, or change their names, etcetc, without me knowing the final changes. As it stands, I need to type it up, send it over, and he has to parse it for Beyond (including the rather tricky way of adding mechanics for sheet presentation).
Will I be able to just hand over an item entirely, for their perusal and editing?
Another topic: if sharing is open, and a character has access to Homebrew, they can see any item I have prepared in my homebrew list, even if it's not published) by doing a search through their characters. Admittedly, that's not easy without some hints, but hints aren't hard to come by, usually :p
Is there a way to keep a homebrew item private from sharing in this way? Without breaking the current homebrew sharing, if at all possible - I don't plan on publishing items I use in my personal campaign. :p
For the time being, I just keep my items in notes until just before the session that they'll probably find it, and only then (or after the session) do I make it into a proper item.

If you create the Item and remove from your collection it won't be shared, and you can still see it from your creations.

And I cast Heroism on the community.
That is awesome, thanks!
So, just the granting of ownership, then. >.>
