Hi, It seems that when browsing monsters and using the advanced filter for "Alignment" that the filter is broken, or that it's logic is not intuitive (by design).
I have filtered for "Dragon" and entered the alignment of "Any Evil Alignment" - upon doing a search I get no return. Without the "Any Evil Alignment" I get all of the dragon type monsters as expected.
If I remove the "Dragon" filter and keep the "Any Evil Alignment" filter, I receive one result - Lich. The search displays Lich's alignment as exactly that "Any Evil Alignment"
The way I thought the filter would work, is that if this option was selected that any alignment containing evil (chaotic evil, neutral evil, lawful evil) would show up in the result, not just the monsters who have specified exactly "Any Evil Alignment". Note this also occurrs for the other "Any" filters (a result is only shown if the monster stat block says that filter exactly, including the "Any" filter -- it only returns monsters with "Any" as their alignment, it does not return CE monsters for example).
These generic alignments were added recently with additional content being added, that isn't publicly available yet, and we're behind on updating the logic on that filter to account for these. That update will be done super soon, but thank you for reminding me!
Thanks for the update! Site is great so far, by far the D&D site I visit most (as a fairly new player/dm <1 year experience) with all of the features, data, and community (with mods and developers keeping in touch regularly)!
