As folks may know, MToF reprinted many of the demon lord stat blocks that had been previously available in OotA. I was hoping now that we have the new Legacy tag that we could get those old stat blocks back as standalone pages, associated with OotA, but marked with the Legacy tag? It's very confusing to run OotA how things are currently set up because D&DB points you to MToF stat blocks that don't match what the campaign expects you to fight.
I doubt that's going to happen. They've only mentioned that the Volo and MTOF content is the stuff that's staying (though no longer purchaseable), but I don't know anything about statblocks included in adventure books or books that aren't those two. If the statblock is from one of those two books, you could get that book for the legacy statblock, but you'd have to buy it before May 19

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.
A good example of this issue is yeenoghu, who displays his MTOF stat block but not his OotA stat block, which is considerably different. If you're running OotA and just search for this creature, you get the wrong stat block. You can see the correct stat block for the adventure in the appendices of the OotA book.

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB
Can you clarify whether you're not seeing them? Monsters such as Orcus are showing the Legacy tag for me.

I don't have the references until back at work on Monday, but I'm pretty sure that was updated via official errata.

Yeah, the yeenoghu in the OotA compendium matches the MToF entry verbatim.
