It would be great if there was a way-- when homebrew content option is turned on-- to allow a non-human character to get a feat at 1st level. (An override of sort). Many DMs allow non humans to take a feat at 1st level by sacrificing ability score points. Also, since there is no way right now to "tweak" core classes and archetypes, I would sometime use a homebrew feat to add a feature to a class it wouldn't have otherwise.
