I and my friends have been part of DND Beyond since the beta. I’ve played Magic the Gathering since the first edition. I have loved all of the content that Wizards of the Coast is associated with for all of my life.
I cannot emphasize enough how saddened I am by the recent actions of Wizards of the Coast. I sincerely hope that leadership at the organization can realize the errors of their actions and take steps toward a fair solution for themselves and the community.
I do not and my friends do not want to delete our accounts and look elsewhere for a TTRPG platform, but if this situation is not resolved and the community is treated as garbage, we are left with no other option.
If the newest news of the $30 a month sub-plan is true, they're bound to lose even MORE goodwill/fans/subs than they did when the OGL leaked.
Clearly, whoever is making these decisions and "drafts" doesn't give a Kobald's butt for the player base, those making purchases, or the fans in ANY capacity. I just feel bad for all the employees who ARE a part of the community and all the negative attention this is garnering them, even though they have little say in it either.
To be fair, don't hassle the D&D Beyond workers--it's NOT their fault. Don't make the moderations teams' job any harder than it already is. Hate WotC, Hate D&D all you want, but please don't take it out on the staff. They didn't do this.
As a GURPS GM, I'm over here eating popcorn watching this. Ready with the marshmallows for when the fire gets low enough to roast them. We'll still be over here, playing GURPS, however we like.
Thank you saying that and I totally agree. The pressure I’m exerting is directed towards the higher ups at Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro. The official statements could not have been more tone deaf and belittling to the D&D community.

Did you create a ticket in their support page. Apparently it's the only way.

Be excellent to each other.
Party on, dudes.
