Im not intersted in 2024 rules. I understand reassoning behind it, but i dont like it and i have few campaigns running in original 2014
Thats why im quite angry about mess which 2024 Rules made in app
I didnt download 2024 rules, yet everywhere im running in to it. There is filter in listing but i have to manually activate it every time when. When i search it gave me results twice.
The appeal of DnD app is/was in that i can quickly, hassle free, found what i need either during the game or when i plan next session. And it was reasson why i got back to DMing. But since some features still alcking and this, i now use it only for character creations or campain managment (well, just start...)
Also the app is one of few reasson why to actually buy DnD books as they are all pirated online - dont get me wrong, im willing to pay for books as i do reckognize that amount of work put into it. Yet i still need some usefullnes from it - which was mostly in DnD beyond.
Now it seems like most DM features are stuck and not developing + im constantly annoyed by mess made by 2024 rules.
Why there isnt some all app switch allowing us to just click edition which we want to use? I mean do you plan for 2024 rules be the last ones? Doesnt make sence to just have "edition filter" for all app? It would be more user-friendly and it would be also assurance of longevity (if i can switch between editions/rules i dont care if there will be new ones every year, i just pick and pay for what i like/need).
With that switch you could incorporate even some older editions or even different systems and settings

This is the bit everyone's missing. You "own" the 2024 basic rules. So it's part of your library automatically.
The thing everyone needs is that switch though, definitely. Not just for 2024, but it should have an advanced list of every book to switch it on and off. I own a bunch of content, but for my Eberron campaign, I don't want people trying to introduce things from Acquisitions Inc etc.
