I'm currently playing an Artillerist Artificer on D&D Beyond. However, the class features are extremely hard to use, and requires so much clicking that is slows down the game.
The first class feature I'm having trouble with is Eldritch Cannon. under my Bonus Actions section of the character sheet, there is a button to roll damage for the Flamethrower only. If I want to use any of the other options, I have to navigate to the Class Features page and find it buried in a wall of text. If I'm using the Force Ballista option, I need to roll a separate attack roll, which requires me to flip to either the Spells section or make a Custom Skill for it. Please make it one button.
The second is Arcane Firearm. The extra d8 does not roll automatically when I use an appropriate spell. I have to either roll an extra d8 manually or navigate to the Class Features page and find it under another wall of text.
All this extra clicking really slows down my turns, to the point where using physical dice and saying or posting the roll is a much better option. Could you consider improving the interface for the Artillerist Artificer?
There are a lot of places where a drop menu would make things easier. Imagine all the good homebrew you could make if there were a selection menu inside of magic items. A sword that can switch between short, long, and great, for instance
The sword type example might be tough to append to homebrew, as you are changing the dice rolled based on the dropdown selection, as well as things like finesse, 2-handed, etc.
It’s not on by default because it incorrectly adds the INT mod to the damage. Removing it from the damage, though, would also remove it from the attack roll, which is still incorrect.
If you do customize it, you’ll need to also add a negative damage bonus (-4 for the character shown above) to satisfy the rules.

Any chance we can get it fixed, and on by default?

This is still an issue.
The interface to use Eldritch Cannon needs an updated to select which Eldritch Cannon option you would like to do.
There are a lot of places where a drop menu would make things easier. Imagine all the good homebrew you could make if there were a selection menu inside of magic items. A sword that can switch between short, long, and great, for instance

Go into your Features & Traits, select each of the Eldritch Cannon types, open the Customize panel, select "Display as Attack".
I don't know why this isn't on by default.
