Perhaps I'm simply overlooking an option, but it appears that at this point there is no way to change your public username. As a person that frequently makes mistakes when typing this can be a little frustrating as the additional 'R' in my username was not intentional. A minor complaint, but one I think should still be fixed. 

When I was creating my display name, I did wonder about this. I was hoping it would be modifiable.

I had no idea that they had forums on "D&D Beyond" so I thought it was just going to be what the system referred to me as, not something displayed to random people haha

Same here, please provide a way to change display name, or at least warn that it is permanent if not.

I suspect that the user name is the "unique identifier" id that the back end database uses for your unique record. If that is the case and and what the pivot table is identifying you as there will never be a way to change that

LOL if they used username as the unique ID, they're doing it wrong :)

Seeing as though they require you to sign into twitch, they should be using that information in the database and possibly use your twitch id as the unique identifier. 

Was this ever resolved? I'd love to be able to change my name, it's not even the full version of the name I wanted to input. It's missing an S!
