Hey all. I love making magic items for my campaigns and I know may of you do too. Creativity is the foundation of this amazing game we all love to immerse ourselves in. Many of the items I make use unlicensed art, weird words, or links that render them unsharable to the larger community and i'm AT PEACE with that. I think the rules of the platform here only make sense and I don't want or intend on sharing these creations.
When I create these items, I've already consented the rules. I'm creating items that I want to show to my party and have relevance to my stories. But, when half of the space on my item card is a red text reminder, it's harder to focus on the narrative content I've created. Hopefully I'm not the only OCD fool out here who sees red text as some sort of negative, like a mistake on a quiz or in an essay and, while I realize many people may not be aware of the rules, all the red warning text leaves my items looking incomplete or blemished.
So I have a very minor, aesthetic suggestion simply for those of us creating for ourselves... would you please consider saving my eyes from the angry red warnings all over my items.
Maybe a small red button with the text "Sharing restricted" appears at the bottom of the item. Maybe a turn down menu button at the top, can hide/expand this text. Maybe a hyperlink much like the ["spell"]["/spell"] text can be hovered over to show why and item violates the sharing policy.
Any of these solutions that still remind and inform the community of the rules, but that doesn't take up so much room on the item cards we create. My created item list just looks depressing when I start expanding all the things I've made.
Thanks for reading this minor complaint. I admit that even for me, this is much lower priority than something like character folders or other more important improvements. But I know you wonderful people respect our feedback, so here it is.
