Unless it is buried for specific types of items, I see no "actions" field for magic items. A number of magic items give you new actions, some unlimited use, some limited. But I do not see any option for adding Actions to magic items like you can for subraces/subclasses/feats. Am I overlooking this? if it is really not possible, this needs to be implemented.
Magic item support is pretty primitive right now. Hopefully they get some of the same functionality as feats and class features can support in the near future.
Magic Items were part of the first implementation of homebrew on D&D Beyond, so don't have the sophistication of the later homebrew elements, like races & subclasses.
The team are working towards an update of homebrew, though I don't have a date for that.
