Is there any plan on adding a Player Handbook +1 option?
If not, please reconsider. I run AL games and a lot of newer players are guided to this for character generation, they constantly have illegal characters because it's hard to figure out what's legal for them.
He means there will be a check within the app that will generate the AL approved logo if a character complies with the AL guidelines. I think it is part of the whitelist/blacklist source options that will be coming soon after the revised character sheet is released.
has there been any timeline on this feature? I see that the last post was Feb, but I have yet to see any AL specific options on the website. People playing characters that do not comply with AL legal options is still a thing when they build their characters with DND Beyond. The ultimate answer heard from these players has been, "but it's on DND Beyond so it is legal!".

the app is getting a approved for adventurers league logo for that (not in the first release)
You ask: Are you dutch? i ask you to roll and you hit a natural 20 ;)
I'm not certain what that means.
Wizard's default suggestion is Player's Handbook +1. So it's not something that should require AL approval. (it's literally in the book)

How to add Tooltips
AL compliance mode IS something that is currently planned. :)

Cool. I mostly play AL personally, so that is one main reason I haven't gone all in on subscription and books.
Thanks
