So D&D can be a complex game sometimes, especially with combat that has multiple tpyes of enemies and having to flip between them, but what if D&D beyond installed a tool that allowed the Dungeon Master to select monsters and put them into a special folder, so when the time came for a certain session the DM could simply open the folder and BAM, the stats are all right their. I just think this could be helpful to dungeon masters as would allow them to better keep track of their monsters all on one page.

Marvarax andSora (Dragonborn) The retired fighter and WIP scholar - Glory
Brythel(Dwarf), The dwarf with a gun - survival at sea
Jaylin(Human), Paladin of Lathander's Ancient ways - The Seven Saints (Azura Claw)
Urselles(Goblin), Cleric of Eldath- The Wizard's challenge
Viclas Tyrin(Half Elf), Student of the Elven arts- Indrafatmoko's Defiance in Phlan
Then, just open the section you are working on and you have links to all your monsters. right click and open in new tab and you should be good to go.
Again, this is a work around, but honestly works pretty good for me :)
This is a good idea. I'll stick with the d&d toolbox chrome extension sincr I already have it. Still good idea though, I'll use this for non-monster notes.

I know it isn't the solution you are looking for, but in the campaign --> Private Notes Section
Create a spoiler, then add the tags for monsters in that spoiler... Like so..
Adventure Part 1
BugBear
Adventure Part 2
Young Blue Dragon
Goblin
