First I’d like to say I love the char creator l. Makes it easy to generate multiple characters when I want to to a quick start with new players and not spend hours going over everything to get them just right.
new to forum and dnd beyond in general. So I’ll jump into it. Trying to use the character creation in the site and trying to create a vampire/vampire like char. Thought maybe using vryloka but I notice it seems like some stuff is locked and I’d have to purchase content to get access to it.
My question is this:
does purchasing content from the marketplace add to the character creator? If so which content would provide access to vampire/vryloka info?
Yes, purchasing character content (such as a race) makes it available in the character creator for your account.
Unfortunately, vampires/vryloka have not been made available as player character options by Wizards of the Coast at the moment. You can either try to create that race via homebrew, or if you have a Hero or Master tier subscription you can search the homebrew races made by the community to see if something fits your requirements.
I forgot to mention that vampires are listed in the monster manual, too, but are not really intended for use as a player character.
