A simple feature of other forums I sorely miss here: links at the top and bottom of a page to quickly return to the subforum you were in. The "jump to forum" dropdown is bit cumbersome to use in mobile view, though I can live with it. The main problem is that it doesn't show up when viewing a thread, when it's needed the most (though it's there in desktop mode).
Also, the forum rules address bumping but not necromancy. Is there a limit/etiquette on posting in older threads? There was another mobile view thread from five days ago. My gut feeling is that this forum doesn't move quite fast enough for second page topics to be off limits, but I started a new thread to be safer than sorry. Clarification would be nice, even if it's something that changes over time as more people post.

There is a policy on thread necromancy, yes. The moderators & staff have also discussed how we should handle this during beta and moving forwards.
Currently, as you noted, the forums are fairly slow, there's a soft-limit of around a month for a thread to be considered dead, but it also depends on what's being added to that - if it's just someone adding their opinion to a conversation that has finished, then yes, they'll probably receive a message from a moderator, asking them not to do that, but if the post is new information that opens up the discussion again, then it may be reasonable. Context is important.
