It would be great if the system let me setup favorite Wildshape forms (based on purchased or basic content). I then can execute a "Use" of that Wildshape and it will expend one use and change my stats to that form. Attacks, HP, abilities all shift accordingly. I will have an option to switch back or if my HPS are reduced to 0 or less it shifts me back accordingly to the rules.
My Druid would very much appreciate such a feature, especially if it auto-updated my physical stats with the Wildshape stats while Wildshape was in effect.
100% agreed. I was just looking in the forum to see if there was a thread on this. We've used DnDB for 3-4 sessions now and we mostly it. The teams done a great job and the search is good. I love pulling the monsters up on the fly.
The wildshape feature is the thing our Druid player really misses. It would be great if it worked exactly like OP said - pull a few "favourite" beasts from the MM or whatever and then "shift" automatically changing the attacks and abilities and prompting her to change the HP for the beast form. The same could be done for polymorph or other shapechanged forms.
Similarly, it would be great if a barbarians rage worked the same way, changing damage, etc.
Any update on this feature request/improvement? Would be great, even to have the soft-links to the animals/beasts under the class feature similar to the way the spell Conjure Animals does...with blow-up windows directly in the spell text.
You can do part of this. In the box that has tabs for "Actions" "Spells" etc, the tab the farthest to the right is "Creatures." Click on that; then click on the "Manage creatures" button. Choose "Wildshape" from the category drop-down. Check "Filter for WIldshape rules" (unless your DM has altered those rules). You can then add any of the listed beasts by clicking on the "add" button. If you return to the main creatures pane, the beasts you choose will show up; if you click on them, an entry will come up for that creature in a sidebar. The stats, etc. are supposed to be adjusted for wild shape rules. I know early on there was something not quite right about some of those. I think that's been fixed, but I haven't done the math on any of the druids in my character library to double check them. (None of my druid characters are currently in use)

Love the work so far!
They've said that this--or something like it--is pretty high on their to-do list.

Good to hear they have this on their list. Their backlog has to be huge. They are off to a great start!

Please make this happen
So, it's been over a year. Has anyone heard anything on this?
I think you can do this. Isn’t it in there creatures section?
