I still run both 4e and 5e games. I was hoping that maybe D&D Insider might be bundled into D&D Beyond -- I already pay a yearly subscription to DDI, and I use it a LOT. I love the compendium, the encounter builder, the adventure tools, etc, and I was so excited to see DDB. But I have to admit to being a bit reluctant to maintain two separate subscriptions.
I understand that they're two different games and two different products, but it would be nice to at least have a bundling option.
I hear you, considering the price we're paying for DDI was set when it was supposed to have 2 magazines worth of content every month. Now we're still paying that same price for static content so they really should throw this in too.
If you've noticed, all DnD Insider subscribers were sent an email making sure their account was linked to a WotC account. It seems as though the whole subscription site for WotC is under construction right now. *wink wink* Doesn't mean they'll offer a bundle subscription, but it would be nice.

I concur.

The main thing is that DDI will still be available.
We are using this tool constantly and I hope they won't stop running it...
