We had a character creation campaign on Saturday and we noticed the Saltmarsh Backgrounds are not available to be picked from Backgrounds.
Can this be remedied for those that have purchased and shared the content from with their campaign?
Hey there! Can you verify whether your your players are able to view ANY content from Saltmarsh? If not, I'd recommend turning off content sharing and then re-enabling it.

Page 31 of Saltmarsh has table for the Marine Background called "Hardship Endured"
This is not available as an option to select in the builder. As a work around I have told the player to type it into notes.
As another example I have two players that have chosen shipwright and on page 33 of Saltmarsh there is a Life at Sea table. That is also not an available option to pick in the background selection of the character builder.
The fisher has a Fishing Tale etc.
Some backgrounds have a Saltmarsh defining event. We dont see those either.

So I did confirm with another team member, as it stands, the character builder doesn't support the additional tables that precede the background itself(ie the hardship endured table) for any background, not just the ones appearing in GoS. That being said, this will likely be addressed & added in a future update!
The criminal/spy and soldier background (both from basic rules) have similar extra charts that are not displayed. It has just always been this way. You can of course roll the chart yourself and then add it to character background as is intended.
Problem solved. While I could see and read all the GoS content in the Sources list when I looked in my Market Place it showed I didn’t own GoS. I was either seeing the content through my DiA attendance our through a campaign share. Once I fully purchased GoS digitally the Backgrounds all now show up as expected.

The bug isn’t limited to only background tables. New GoS backgrounds like Smuggler are not in the character builder choices.
