It would be great during gameplay if the DM could select an area of a players character sheet (on the DM’s device) and it would be highlighted on the players screen. This would help to point out where to view particular stats, etc. especially for new, rusty or long distance players.
This feature would assume that the instances of both the player and the DM are connected which I am willing to bet is not the case currently. It's a neat idea, but I think it would be a sizeable technical feat and a pivot from their current trajectory to accomplish that feature.
An alternative that I do is make sure someone else at the table is familiar with D&D Beyond character sheets and have them sit next to the new person and have them help that person so you can focus on keeping the game moving forward.

Sounds a bit complicated and niche honestly, but I don't dislike the idea.
