l did not upload a image,l pressed one of the ones provided by this site and want it to go back to the "no portrait" portrait that is a black person shape on a green background
there is no pic of it as a option, and there is no "return to default" option. the pic i want it the pic that is used when the character is newly made and has no portrait given by the maker.the one shown here
l tryed copying the image but it did not work, and bandicam did not shrink enough to work. l also tryed googling it but that was useless. it seems like a "return to default" button should have been added long ago
never mind l fixed it. l used bandicam to take a picture of it then used my photo viewer and enlarged the pic and got it back to normal
Ah, gotcha - you wanted the 'no image' display. I was reading this as it reverting to the 'no image' and you couldn't find the used portrait. No worries; Thank you for clarifying.
l accidentally changed my changelings portrait and l want it back to default
Repeat what you did to change it and select/upload your old image

There's no action to remove an avatar and return to the 'no avatar' placeholder.
You could make a new character without an avatar, then copy and save the image to your computer and then upload it again to your original character

Maybe that should be one of the choices though...
l know, right? it seems like a huge oversight to not have it as a option for if you mess up or whatever.
Could you post an image of the original picture for reference?
