Oh look. Another thread complaining about the a la carte removal decision.
I lodged a ticket asking if products previously purchased from books would be taken into account when pricing books. I was told by Seth from Support that I would need to compare my Order History to the market place, make note of what I've purchased, and then compile it as a list, and lodge another ticket for a discount code.
This is ridiculously time consuming. I also live in Australia. So, lodging a ticket it takes 16-24 hours to get a response (despite the footer note saying support is available 24/7).
It is ridiculous and poor form that to be able to make a purchase I need to wait a stupid amount of time for someone to give a copy pasted response (I may as well be talking to ChatGPT) to get a discount code on something they should have implemented with the change.
I respect the change. I understand that DnDBeyond have sold out to WotC and WotC and Hasbro are capitalistic twats. What I don't understand is the complete oversight on the people who have only bought bits and pieces of the books before and think that putting this ownership, responsibility and time onto the consumer in a complicated, time consuming way is okay???

Agreed. The older site was so much better.
