As an example, I created a character that is a Level 1 Cleric and Level 2 Wizard, but the sheet made available to me no second level spell slots (contrary to expected by the statement bellow).
Spell Slots. You determine your available spell slots by adding together all your levels in the bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, and wizard classes, and half your levels (rounded down) in the paladin and ranger classes. Use this total to determine your spell slots by consulting the Multiclass Spellcaster table.
Is anybody else experiencing the same? Or am I missing some configuration to enable multiclassing as a double caster to work?
I guess I just missunderstood the rules. The slots were available to me, but I was expecting to be able to have spells on the level I had the slots on. Just read through the below rule and ignored it lol. Thanks again!
Spells Known and Prepared. You determine what spells you know and can prepare for each class individually, as if you were a single-classed member of that class.

It is my impression that the available spell slots per level for a multiclass character does not follow the table in the Player's Handbook for 5E and even in the basic rules https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules/customization-options#Multiclassing.

The D&D beyond character sheets follow the rules for multiclass spellcasting.
I've duplicated your test, creating a character that is 1st level cleric and 2nd level wizard - the character is correctly granted 2nd level spells.
Can you please provide a link to your character sheet so a moderator can take a look for you?

Hello!
Thanks for the quick reply.
