I have run into a problem trying to put items in my inventory to be infused as an artificer. In this case, the DM is using the Mathew Mercer rules for firearms. So items like the Pepperbox, and Bad News are in the system as homebrew items. But they are not magic items, they are created items but were put into DnD Beyond as homebrew. Before the artificer class became official I get that worked. But introduction of the official artificer class, you cannot use the infusion process on these non-magical items.
It should be a relatively simple programming change to either add a check field to homebrew items, and remove the automatic assumption that they are magic. or to replicate the section of software for homebrew for a second option to allow "mindane" items that can be added, which could be infused and then the infusions rules would be applied in the Inventory section.
P.S. I apologize if this has already been brought up by someone

The CR firearms can be infused for me. They just can't have the repeating weapon infusion because that requires the ammunition property.
I would personally allow them to be repeating shot, but RAW they can't.
