As a person who recently spent close to $400.00 on this product I am a bit disappointed.
I am wondering why I cannot create homebrew mundane weapons such as Tonfa, Butterflysword, or a Cestus. Also, I'd like to be able to create mundane items such as a Tanglefoot bag, Tindertwig, or smokestick.
Why is there not a sheet/tab for familiar's, companions, or mounts?
Also, I'm not sure I can place any gear in containers on my sheet.
I've seen some of these items mentioned in other threads but I haven't seen any rough timeframes for when these issues will be addressed. I'd like to think my money was for an all encompsing program that makes it easier for me to run and play Hombrew 5e games.
I think D&D Beyond has the potential for that, but at the moment I can't quite say it is. Any info on when some these items will be implemented would be helpful. Or if this has already been addressed feel free to link me the thread answering it if I missed it. Thanks.

D&D Beyond FoundersThe Developer Q&A stream - target for the new character sheet is indeed Q1 2018 (ie. before the end of March).
