The ‘Help’ tooltip for the ‘Notes’ box under the ‘Additional Information’ tab on homebrew magic items reads:

Enter additional notes concerning your magic item here. These notes will display in the header of your magic item's listing entry.

Adding any text here only adds it to a ‘Notes:’ section in the footer of the magic item page.
