How about not showing where the secret doors and passages are, kind of defeats the purpose don't you think?

These are made by WotC, not DDB. They have to add them in as they came in the book.
In short, you are complaining to the wrong people. :)

D&D Beyond FoundersWhere we are able to do so, we will present "Player Version" of maps that don't have secret doors etc marked on them, but it depends on the files we receive.
