I know recently there were some errata done to spells in Tasha's but if i had purchased SCAG, i'd like to be able to see that version of the spell...at least in the original version of the sourcebook. It would be nice just see what was errata'd and wether or not I wish to use the new or old one in my campaigns...

DNDBeyond is under obligation from Wizards of the Coast to use the latest version for everything on their site. If you want to know what an old rule was you would need to either look at the Errata List and figure out what was changed - or have an old version of the book to see it directly.

shucks...i get that but the errata is nice but sometimes it doesn't print what the old one was changed from...a lot of times it does...but i gotta find a pdf now i think

Functionally the only change is to range, it used to be simply '5 feet,' and now is 'Self (5-ft radius).' The changes in the second sentence bring no functional change.
